Farmington Elementary

Sixth grade students launched rockets as part of their space unit with special guest “Rocketman” Kim Nelson. They learned about gravity, inertia, and how rockets counteract gravity to reach space, even getting hands-on experience with rocket motors. Students were thrilled to watch their creations soar skyward, with some even practicing engineering skills by helping set up the launch systems. The excitement was out of this world!
